The Beacon Dory

The Beacon Dory is an excellent boat for use as a launch service, in a
rental fleet or as a work boat. Fly fishermen will appreciate our boat
for its simplicity and low maintenance which means more time to fish!
Quality Lightweight Composite
Fiberglass construction and modern materials require little maintenance.
Forward fly fishing platform and flotation tanks are molded with
non-skid for maximum safety! These styrofoam-filled tanks, designed to
meet USCG flotation requirements, are chemically fused to the hull using
the PLEXUS adhesion system for superior durability.
Tradition
For over 200 years, the beautiful lapstrake dory hull is noted for its
outstanding rowing ability. The Beacon Dory can be quickly thrust to
hull speed with a small motor. Our center console option provides even
more comfort and versatility.
